Everyone knows that helping those in need is a great thing to encourage students of all ages to do, but Kids Caring 4 Kids (KC4K) fund-raisers are more than just a way to give back. They help students develop important leadership skills that will prepare them for whatever they hope do in life.

Here are five ways a KC4K fundraiser, with the help of an “i care 2” kit, helps kids build leadership skills:

1. Confidence-boosting: KC4K gives kids the unique opportunity to create and take ownership of their fundraising effort or event by being responsible for every aspect.  When it’s all said and done, these kids feel confidence and pride in what they were able to accomplish.
2. Communication Skills:  Kids learn to express their thoughts and ideas in a way that convinces other people to come alongside and help support their cause.
