"i care 2" kit ...Enables Groups and Individual Kids to Bring Hope and Care to Kids in Africa
Once people started hearing about Kendall Ciesemier’s goal of raising $1 million to help kids in Africa impacted by AIDS, it was soon clear that she couldn’t meet with every group that wanted to know more about Kids Caring 4 Kids (KC4K) and how they could get involved.
With everything that’s part of a busy high schooler’s life, Kendall had to reluctantly decline some invitations. But now Kendall, her story, and her enthusiasm can go where she cannot.
Their free “i care 2” kit, released in 2009, includes ...
- a DVD featuring Kendall’s story and challenge — "Kids Caring 4 Kids: Inspiring Kids to Care"
- an info-packed Ready-Set-Go guide with easy steps and ideas on how students and groups can have your own fundraiser or service project to benefit kids in Africa
- a CD-Rom packed with resources ... including things like sample posters and flyers, PR tips and news releases to adapt, fundraising ideas, and enrichment activities for teachers to use in a classroom
- a sample KC4K t-shirt
- and more
The turn-key kit is all about energizing, informing, and enabling students and groups to learn firsthand how good it feels to make a difference for kids whose lives have been turned upside down by the AIDS crisis in Africa. Monies raised help build orphan care centers, drill boreholes for clean water, fund daily feeding programs, provide bikes and school uniforms, shelter rescued children, and more.
This easy-to-use resource is ideal for teachers, PTA parents, school or church groups, or individual students who have an itch to make a difference in the world.
