Kids Caring 4 Kids has acquired some Flip Video camcorders (the Flip Ultra™) so you can tell us about your fundraiser to help kids in Africa. We can't send a Flip Video to everyone So … for each person or group that raises $695 or more for KC4K by June 15, 2010 using their “i care 2” kit, we will send one Flip Video camera worth $150. It’s our way of saying “thanks” and giving you a chance to share your story.

After you get your Flip Video, we’d like you to use the camera to tell us about your fundraiser and what helping the AIDS orphans in Africa meant to you and your group. The camcorder is yours to keep. The Flip Video holds 120 minutes of video on a 4GB of built-in memory – no tapes or additional memory cards needed. The USB arm plugs right into your computer to launch the FlipShare™ software.

So if you think you can raise at least $695 … here’s what you do.

• Plan and carry out your fundraiser for Kids Caring 4 Kids. Request an
  “i care 2” kit if you don’t have one. 
• Mail your check to Kids Caring 4 Kids and include the Share Your Story Form that is in your “i care 2” kit and also available here. Download it here.
• If your check is for $695 or more, we will contact you to verify where to send your Flip Video camera. When you get it, make a short video for us about your KC4K project (we may even post some of your video). The Flip Video camera is yours to keep.

5 easy ideas to raise money right now with your “i care 2” kit to help African kids in need!

• Show the DVD Kids Caring 4 Kids: Inspiring Kids to Care and take a donation or brainstorm a simple fundraiser.
• Hold a movie night. Ask your friends to donate what they typically spend for a movie ticket. You can even have your own concession and sell snacks.
• Have a loose change collection. Spare coins add up fast.
• Get some friends or students in a group to donate a portion of money they earn or save—babysitting money, part of their allowance, or give up something like a Starbucks or a movie.
• If you are part of church or youth group, show the video and take a special offering.
• Plan a garage sale, do spring clean up, used toy sale, or have a concession at an event.
