Hey guys... just a little update.
I was named a 2009 Huggable Hero by Build-A-Bear workshop recently and I am very excited. The 12 huggable heroes will be featured in a calendar that will be sold across the country and we are making a documentary that will be featured in stores. We also get a $2,500 grant to a charity of our choice and a $7,500 scholarship for college! I am excited to attend the Huggable Hero Weekend from July 22-24. I get to meet the other winners and do some cool things.

So... I know it has been a while since my first blog entry but it is finally summer and I have time now since school is out. Our I care 2 kits are now available and guess what!?? They are free! Yes, anyone can get a kit and has the power to start their very own Kids Caring 4 Kids fundraiser.

Included in the kit is:
- a letter from me introducing the kit
- a dvd of the KC4K story ( how it started, what projects we support)
- a cd that contains banners, PR (press release) samples, flyers, certificates, and tons teacher resources)

Hello everyone!

So, finally our new website is up, yay! We have been super busy working on this website, sponsoring new projects, and creating our new "i care 2 kits". I am so happy that we are nearing the end of building up our charity and soon we can really go out and fundraise. I am very excited to get the opportunity to speak to more kids soon.
